wheel guys.... will these fit????

I have about ~$1,500 to spend on my car. Would love to get some VSXX rims, but being a college kid doesn't come cheap.

But anyway, I have an 04 coupe with the brembos. Will these clear them? I was thinking about calling them and asking, but thought you guys might be better help.

I think they will clear them, but if you have brembo brakes you should get wheels that will show'em off!

You should call and ask if they will clear the brembo calipers... however, by the looks of the wheel and assuming there is an application for g35/z, look like they will fit. The wheels seem to have sufficient room behind the spokes.

Ya, on the website they asked asked what type/year/model, and then it narrows it down to all the wheels that would fit. The thing that worries me is the Brembo clearance though. I'll give them a call and see.

You will need to find out if its high or low disk, high disk means that they will clear brembo breaks. Never go by the looks of the wheel or the spoke design, ask questions always. But if all else falls you can use spacers to get the rim round the brembos.

Yup, you will need a high disk in the front to clear Brembos. Rears don't usually cause any issues.

Disk pad for caliper clearance are more prevalent for wheels with a lip based construction (which can be single to multi-piece). However with wheels that comprise of spokes starting from the hub to the edge of the barrel do not really need a high or low pad disk design... the benefit of these 1 piece wheels with spokes to the edge of the barrel is the extra caliper clearance, whether they are needed or not (assuming the right offset is acquired). Having different disk pads would kill this benefit and is simply retarded in a manufacturing point of view.

AME Tracer FS-01 and Volk Progressiv wheels do not offer a disk pad placement simply because of the wheel spokes design. Note that concavity is related to the width of the wheel and offset, not by the disk pad design.

Of course, whenever in doubt... never hurt to ask.
