IF YOU HAVE S-TECH's ON YOUR G, POST PIC!

Thank you. I have a DG Coupe and I am considering lowering my car. Please post your pics of your G on Tein S-Tech's. Thanks again.

good post randy... the s-tech look just right... but the spring rate is high.. how stiff is the ride you guys? eibach has a much lower spring rate so it should feel closer to the stock suspension

Sick, did you use the stock shocks? I'm assuming you had the sport package?

here's my contribution. both sick and i have stock shocks. i like the spring rates on the teins because it handles better. but of course you sacrifice comfort, which isn't much of a difference from the stockers. only bad thing is, you better open your wallet wider for some camber kits.

Re: IF YOU HAVE S-TECH's ON YOUR G, POST PIC!

All coupes have the same shock's. Only the sedan has a sport of non sport suspension. Be thankfull their is not such a thing, the oem shock's allow enough weight transfering as is.

Oem coupe spring rates are
314/342

Tein S-tech rates are 358/274 R+14% R-18%
Transfers +32% to front

Tein H-tech 324/263 F+ 5% R-22%
Transfers +27% to front

Eibach coupe springs *229/*337 front *274/*463 rear
*first number is the softer initial progressive rate the second number is the higher final rate. Tein springs are progressive in the front linear rear and they do not tell us the softer inital rate, only the peak rate info is given by Tein.

Yeah I'm still using the stock shocks but will be replacing them with something better in the near future.

kinetix racing has the front and rear camber kits plus rear toe adjustments for under $800.

Can you elaborate? How much are you talking?

I swore I read in another post that you don't need a camber kit with the S-techs or maybe it was the H-techs.

Re: IF YOU HAVE S-TECH's ON YOUR G, POST PIC!

you don't "need" them, but the camber is definitely negatively increased. springs are cheap, tires are not. so expect to pony up at least 4-8x as much for the correction. youre a show team iirc, so i would think you would go with the nice shiny/expensive ones . saves you the hassle of going to the shop a few thousand miles earlier to swap out them tires.

Gsedan35,

From the specs you posted, it looks like the Eibach springs are stiffer then the Tein S-spec springs in the rear? Is that correct?
