Optional Tire Size

I have a 2005 G35 MT6 Sedan and I'm looking to purchase new tires. The OEM tire size is 235/45/18 but I have found that there is a much better selection of tires in the 245/45/18 size. Does anyone know if I can fit this size of tire without any issues. I looking to buy Goodyear F1 All Season tires and I don't believe they are available in the 235/45/18 size. I have had very good luck with the Goodyear tires on my BMW E36 M3.

Do you know if a 255 will fit without rubbing? I don't want to roll the fenders or have any rubbing issues with the suspension.

your oem's rims are 7.5" wide so 255 might be little bit of a squeeze. The '04coupe's 8" rims use 225 front and 245 rear.

Any experts want to validate that?

i run 245/45/18 dunlop sportmaxx in my 06 sedan dropped on unrevised z springs. i never encountered any rubbing issues but i hardly ever have an entire car full. i have 245/40/18 Toyo T1Rs waiting to go on when these run out. i wanted to go to a shorter, lighter weight tire. if you are not lowered then i would not worry about that size even with a car full of people.
