How much to installed extended studs?

I just got 2 pairs ichiba spacer V1 10mm, they come with longer stud. I just asked one local shop in Southern california to install them and they said they might need whole day to do it, so they charge me $1000.00 for labor. Any comments? Is that resonable price? Does anyone live in OC know someone can do it with better deal? Any comment is appreciated!!!!!!!

If a shop takes a whole day to install them, RUN! I did it in a friends driveway with hand tools in a couple of hours

I talked to the guy, he said he have to take them apart that's why it take whole day to be done in proper way. I don't know if it is safe if you do it without take them apart.

it's not a difficult install, do it yourself. There's a DIY either on here or my350z. Yes, it will take some time but it's not tough by any means.

the people you brought it to are gonna tell you that they ahve to take out the hubs. either theyre noobs and really do plan on doing it that way or theyre just telling you that to rip you. i could probably get all of them done for you within an hour or 2 with basic hand tools. go to another shop. i wouldnt pay more than 200 to get all of them done.

i did mine a few months ago with my buddy, spent 2 hours and is easy as long as you have some basic skills, the dealer quoted my 340-380 and i think thats a rip off. find a friend to do it with you and do some research over on my350.
