Is there any detriment to running 245/40/19 all around?

Is there any detriment to running 245/40/19 all around?

Would that be bad?

I need tires bad, and found a deal but it's only for the rear size. I'm running 245 in front now, so fit shouldn't be a problem, but will it cause other issues?

On oem wheels of course

I'm actually very curious about this too but unforuanately dont have the answer either.... was very seriously considering just getting 245'19s x4 for simplisity in ordering tires...

its not easy to find a 225'19" all season tire

anyone know?

I'm running 245/40/19s (Falken FK452s) all around on my Sedan with Rays OEM 19s, no problems here.

i looked into it myself, and theres nothing wrong with it...it will actually help the tires wear better since you can now rotate them at regular intervals.

so i bought 'em.

Do you have OEM 19's? How do you plan on rotating wheels that are 8" in the front and 8.5" in the rear?

who says I can't put the 8.5 in front? What does it matter.

Or just remove and remount the tires all around

I guess some people just don't care about handling at all 8.5" in the front and 8" in the rear If you dismount and remount, then you've defeated the purpose of buying nonstaggered for rotation purposes, because people with nonstaggered tires do this already to even out the camber wear which is the most prevelant cause of premature wear
