TPMS Light Reset
The TPMS light went off again. Same place. For those of you familiar with the San Fernando Valley, I go to work southbound on White Oak from Roscoe. The light goes off about 100 yds north of Vanowen.
Suggestions (other than a different route)?
Perhaps the Bermuda Triangle has moved!

Does it go off in the EXACT same place every time? If it does, it may be radio interference. If I remember right, these things transmit on 433mhz +/-, you may be getting a signal from someting else. Try a different route.
I'd say it goes off within 100ft of the same place. I have had the car since early March, 2008 and have taken the same route to work since then. This issue started about 3 weeks ago. When I picked up the car last night, I took that route home and it didn't go off.
At any rate, why wouldn't it reset by itself since the tire pressure is fine?

Problem Solved (I hope)
The second dealer found a bad tire sensor. Why the first one couldn't is beyond me. I called their service manager and suggested that the mechanics are not doing what they say they are and taking shortcuts.
Anyway, Monday morning will tell.
Anyway, Monday morning will tell.
I took a long drive today in very hot weather. Somewhere between Austin and San Antonio the light went on (no buzzer sound). I pulled into a gas station and checked all four tires, they were all the same and normal given the hot weather and the long driving I had done.
As soon as i turned the car on, the light went off (even before i had a chance to put the car into gear). The light stayed off for most of the remainder of the trip but just inside san antonio the light went on again. Once again i pulled into a gas station and all four tires had completely normal pressure and were identical to each other. As soon as i turned the car on, the low pressure light went off.
On the way back (san antonio back to austin) the light went on again. Same story, pressure good, starting car turns off the light.
on a side note: with this car (2005 g35) i have had true low pressure on a tire before. the tpms system acts differently with a true low tire. Here, the light will go on. When you stop the car and put some more air into the low tire, then start the car, the low tire pressure light will still be on (even before driving). The light will stay on for a few miles until the car figures out that all 4 tires have good pressure. After a few miles the light goes out. So turning the car off then back on does not clear the light when you truly have a low tire.
Any ideas?

I am having the exact same issue, after about 30 min of the car being on the light comes on, no buzzer just light. Resets after car turned off then back on again. The only change point I had is new rear tires two weeks ago, but all pressures all the way around are 37 psi. And it doesn't matter if it is sitting and idling, highway speed or stop and go, about half an hour and it's on. Quite odd to me. I don't want to get in the habit of just ignoring it for fear that when it does come on there may actually be a problem. If anyone has suggestions I am open to them.

And I drive an '05 auto coupe.
I think these things are designed to break right after you get out of warranty :P
I had this problem on my 2007 g35 coupe turned out to be a screw in my tire so make sure you check every tire over.
OK guys, let's try to figure this one out: I've had the car to the dealer 3 seperate times in the last 2 weeks to have this fixed. I've checked the tires each time and they are at 36psi. The sensor is not supposed to come on until a tire gets below 30psi. No amount of driving will reset it.
It has gone off each time in roughly the same location on my way to work! Could there be something at the same frequency as the TMPS causing this.
I'm going to try a different dealer this time.
