going back and forth between these 2 wheels

i've got an 05X in DG, i'm looking to get wheels right off the bat and later down the road if the coilover ever get made for the X i would get them or just some springs. but wheels first.

my current choices are, 18' rota boost in black or the 19' a34 nismo wheels in gunmetal.

now before you guys start going off on me with the rota wheels, i've considered these two wheels due to the current price on ebay and my likings. either set of rims would be roughly $500 give or take due to the 25% off MS cashback.

both are light weight, now the boost is more of the style that i like but i can live with the a34 wheels no a problem. i'm more concerned with cost of tires. quick look on tire rack most 18' tires are about 150 and the most 19's are nearing 200, my 2nd concern would be how they look, since the sedan is a bigger car, i wasn't sure if the wheels would look too small for the car without a drop and all.

for the look, the rota hands down. but 18" only that sucks, if they were 19" it would be no question from my part.

right now i'm trying to find the OEM wheel weight of the 17 stocks that came on my 05x, compare them to the weight of the rota and the nismo's,

the nismo are made by rays and are forged thats the only thing going for them, i prefer the look of the rota's but 18's are the highest they will go. cheaper tires for the 18's are pretty nice but i factor that tires are only needed every 2-4 years since these will be my summer wheels.

Nismo wheels would be the smart choice.

i dont know what so say, i've seen friends riding on rotas for years and nothing like that. if the nismo's came in black or the 5 spoke has proper offsets for a sedan i would be all over it.

off the wheel style for a bit and on to 18's VS 19's, what do you guys think on either a non-dropped AWD sedan ?

and the cost of tires.

Nismo's...you can have them powder coated in black.

19's will look better on a non-dropped or dropped sedan but the tires will cost more...19" tires cost more than 20"....I've found just because they don't stock them as much as other sizes.
