Possibly getting new rims soon.... a few questions...

I am searching for new rims and i have a few questions....

Depending on the size and offset of the rim, how do i know what size tire i should be looking for? The rims im hoping i can get for a reasonable price are either..

19X8.5 19X9.5 +25 +30
OR
20X8.5 20X10 +25 +30

How do i know what size tire would look good without rubbing or needing me to roll the fenders? and sizes... how wide & what size sidewall should i be expecting to keep a comfortable ride without feeling EVERY bump?

One other question. When looking at rims, how do i know how wide the lip will be in the back? for example, on the 20's listed above, is the front 8.5mm lip and a 10mm lip in the back? and what do the offsets mean?

Thanks for the input!

If you have a coupe, those are really weak fitments. You're going to want to run some sizable spacers.

I used the tire calculator here and i didnt really see how it would be an issue..

http://www.bigcustomwheels.com/rt_sp...&text1=&text2=

Would this set up work?

20X8.5 rims with 255/30/20 front and 20X10 rims with 285/30/20 rears

Should i get a +25 offset in the front and a +30 in the back? Or +25 all the way around or would a +30 offset be better? Or should i get a +30 offset and get 15mm spacers? I really appreciate an answer because ive searched for hours and couldnt get a clear answer....

The car is an 06 coupe so i dont have to worry about them clearing brembos or anything, and the car is not lowered.... will i have any problems with them rubbing?

these are the rims-

so it should be ok wihout any rubbing with the +25? Any info to back up why you'd choose 25 instead of 30?

With those sizes a +25 offset would be the best. You might rub with a 285 especially if you lower it eventually, and you're gonna want to lower it after getting those wheels. I'd recommend that you go with a 275 out back.

i have a set of 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 with +20 all around on order...+30 the wheels would be tucked like the stock rims,+25 would push the rim out for a more flush look. are you lowered or plan to lower?
