Hey, well i got my coupe not too long ago, and i had a question, when i first went to infiniti to get my car, i had asked the guy if the car came with the brembos, because i got the sport package. It was fully loaded but without the navi, and the 18 inch wheels b/c i was gonna change them anyways. Well, the brakes i have now dont say brembo, they are only silver and look pretty dumb. I was wondering if they were brembos, or if they just dont have the brake covers on them, or if there not even brembos.
Also, how much would it be, if i took the car into infiniti and had them upgrade the brakes i have it now to the brembo ones, and tell them there was some kind of missunderstanding when i first purchased the car. How much about do you think they would charge me. Thanks!

the brembos only come on the manual transmission coupes. You might be able to get them from the dealer but considering the fact that each rotor from the dealer runs ~$400 and not to mention the calipers are probably twice that much each, you would be better off getting an aftermarket set like the stoptechs.

 

you can buy a used set of brembo's off a 6mt or 350z track for about 2000 bucks. Stoptechs will cost you a little over 4 grand.
