I have OEM Potenzas. Fronts are worn to hell, bad cupping. Rears are fine have only 6-7K miles on them.

Want to move to different tires (Yokohama S.Drive,Hankook Ventus v12 evo, etc... ) in the ~$200 range.

Can I move the Potenza 245/40/19s from the back to the front and start the transition by putting 255/40/19 Yokohama etc.. on the rear?

If not can I put 235/35/19 Yokohama in the front (to maintain the stagger) and when the rear Potenzas die put 255/40/19 yoko in the back?

Thanks

thanks, I was just looking through that thread.

I guess my question is:

Is there any reason I can't take the tires that were on the rear for 7000 miles and put them on the front?

Thanks

As long as you match the rear accordingly, no.
