I just bought some 18" G35 coupe rims for my 1997 240sx and I just had a question I'd like to ask since you all are probably more familiar with these rims than I am. These are 18x8 +30 on all four, but the two rear state "Rear" and the two front state "Front". Does this really matter? Did the manufacturer only do this because of the staggared tire fitment? Can I still put the "Rear" rims in the front and the "Front" rims in the rear of my car? The only reason I ask is because I was thinking about putting the same size tires on all four rims.

Thanks!

where does it state that? on the rim or tire? if it is on the tire they probaly wrote that so they knew which one is which so they can rotate it.

Really, I thought both rims said "30" on a spoke as well. Also, on a 350z forum thread it states these are 18x8 +30 on all four.

^ can you take pictures just to give me or us an idea? Or can you weight them since that they're out?

well if it says that they are all 18x8 +30 then you shouldnt have a problem. but dont take my word on it.

I just put the rims on my car last night, so if I have some time to take it off I will take pictures. I recall all the rims said 18x8JJ on a spoke, 30 on a spoke, and fronts said Front and rears said Rear on a spoke.
The guy who I bought it from said something about a "bolt" being on the front Brembo's too that he had to take off in order for his winter rims to fit. Maybe that's a reason too??? So staggared tire fitment and that bolt on the caliper??? So really, maybe not a worry for my car???

I think the 19"s are +30 and +33. I'm talking about the 18"s. Here is the thread I was talking about: http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/Wheel_Specifications

The way they are now, I'm pretty sure the rears weigh more because of the larger tires. I won't be able to weigh them exactly unless the tires were off of the rims.

Because I thought you will put all 4 same tires on all of them. If you're able to do that and weight them would be nice. I don't have any connection over here able to take the tires off w/o chargiing me $20.
