For people with Tein S Techs, do you have as big a problem as I do with speed bumps? I can handle most driveways, angling up them. Most dips aren't too bad as long as I manage to see them and slow down enough. But the speed bumps are brutal. No matter how slow I go, there will be a scrape as the middle of the car goes over. Tonight I saw a really small speed bump ahead. I thought this one won't be a problem. Then I hear a scrape from the mid-front. I've been trying to go out of my way to avoid speed bumps now. I think there should be a speed bump ahead warning on the navigation.

My other theory is instead of slowing down for the speed bumps, maybe I should speed up and try to get some air over them.

 

lol i can just see someday being behind a coupe and being like "goddamn thats badass *looking at springs*" then all of a sudden i just see like a 2nd gear drop and a quick 20-50mph run rihgt before a huge speedbumb where the car gets like 2 feet of airand then slams down and scrapes anyways. lol thats just how i pictured it when u said "maybe i should speed up and get some air" lol. This is why i think that i will prolly stayvery close to stock height and may put new springs on as a measure to improve handling only

Gfly, maybe you should try different springs and struts. Pictured attached.

It doesn't seem like tein's would be that low. I was about to get some but I keep thinking that 1.2 and .9 won't be low enough for me. Maybe I'm wrong? btw, that's a sick 350Z Must have some crazy coil overs to get that much travel

 

Well, here are the measurements on mine. The front bumper is less than 7 inches off the ground. The front splash guards are 4 inches. The rear splash guards are less than 7 inches and the exhaust is 8 inches.
