Recommendations on keeping my car low + driveable?

How can I keep my car low (19s with tein s techs) but not worry about every speed bump scraping the underside of the car? Could an aftermarket skid plate work so at least nothing is damaged when it scrapes?

I noticed on a long entrance driveway you scrape the sideskirts and underneath your car. But underneath there is a skid plate that is not affecting your real side skirts with scratches although it sounds bad. Avoid speed bumps and that's it. My springs lowered mine 2 inches (sedan) and I hardly have any problem. Be carefull, Martin

I wish I could always avoid speed bumps. I managed to today despite going into two parking lots. But there are times when they just can't be avoided.
