Brembos and 17" wheels

I would like to know if anyone has had experience fitting 17" wheels over the Brembo brake package. I need to plan for winter tires next fall and would like to find rims that fit.

They fit, just make sure you have the right offset and you should be fine.

So are you saying that brembo brakes will fit on stock 17 inch rims? Sport packaged ones?

Hi,
Is it possible to replace my 17 wheels and standard brakes with 18 inch wheels and Brembo brakes on my G35 coupe from the dealership? I would like to have the better brake system. Any suggestions? Thanks

Replacing the brakes will be pretty expensive. I know that the StopTech 14" big brake kit runs about $4k for all 4 wheels, you'll probably pay that much at a minimum getting everything from the dealer.

Are you planning on taking your car to the track? If not I don't think you would see much of an improvement on the street by upgrading to the Brembos.

As for the 18" wheels, you can probably pick up a set of coupe wheels/tires for around $1500 secondhand. They will charge you an arm and a leg if you get them through your dealership.
