Offsets

I have a 2004 G35 coupe 6mt and I was thinking about putting 20 inch rims on it and I want them to be flush with the fender, not sunken in like the stock wheels are but I don't want it to be possible to hit the fender if I hit a dip. I was looking at a set that 30mm offset in the front and 35mm offset in the back.

you have to take widths into account when calculating where the wheel is gonna sit, not just an offset.
Are you willing to roll your rear fenders? I hope so, that'll give you a better chance at getting flush, you WILL NOT be flush without rolling your fenders plain and simple.

Post what widths you're looking to run and we can give you a better idea of the offsets!!!

Offsets

Thanks for the reply. The fronts are 8.5 inches wide 30mm offset as you know, rear 9.5 inches, 35mm offset. As long as the fenders still look the same and it doesn't make it a lot easier for them to be bent in, I don't mind rolling them.

then w/o running any stretch i'd say offsets around +0 for the front and about the same for the rear!
so 25/30 mm spacers all around!!!

you'd have to run spacer to make them flush. Being flush and having good fitment is kind of a big deal though if it doesn't matter to you then you are fine without spacers they wont look to bad!!!

whether its a big deal or not depends on you.. if it bothers you and you want to make the wheels flush with your fenders, get 15mm spacers up front and 20mm in the rear. To get it flush and not have your tires rub, you would need to roll your fenders. ShanesG does fender rolling so if you're in so cal.. shoot him a pm to get it done.

No, just bolt on, you wont run right now but if you decide to get spacers you will rub and will have to get rear fenders rolled. So it's all up to you!!!
