Question About 20" Tire Size Bias
Question About 20" Tire Size Bias
After extensive searching regarding 20" coupe tire sizes, I have come to the following conclusions:
1) Most people run the 245/30(35)/20 & 275/30/20 combo.
2) 255/30/20 & 285/30/20 is considered an "acceptable" slightly wider alternative, but it is much less popular.
My question is, why is option 2 not nearly as popular? According to my calculations it seems to be closer all-around to the stock diameters. Is there some downside with running this setup that I have missed?
I'm looking at getting some 9"F/10"R wheels with +25 offsets and lowering with 350z H-Techs.
Option 2 seems to make the most sense to me, but I wanted to get some input from you guys since the minority of 20" wheel owners seem to not be using it.
Thanks!
