Question Need your help. 2003 G35 Coupe with 19" Forged rims

Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum, so I would first like to introduce myself. I will soon be a proud owner of a 2003 Infinit G35 coupe. Right now, I'm doing some research and trying to buy some new rims and have them ready to put on my ride as soon as I get it.

Currently, it has the factory 18" alloys on it. I want to put a set of 2006 OEM 19" forged rims on.

The seller was very honest and said that some dude with a 2004 couldn't put them on because the bolt pattern was different/didn't fit properly.

I just want to know will the 2006 OEM 19" forge rims fit on a older model, 2003 G35.

Is the bolt pattern, 5x114.3 the same for all Gs between 2003-2007? A lot of websites out there states that it can be done. I just want to confirm with some experts on here. Since I still don't have my ride yet, I can't drive it to the seller and install them on site. He's already kind enough to hold them for me for another day. If you guys can help me out, that would be greatly appreciate it!!!

Thanks in advance!!! THANK YOU

Thanks for the response whlee84.
I'm just worried, cause I don't have my car yet and the seller put doubt in my mind when he said a dude with an 2004 came and it didn't fit. He was being honest, and I appreciate that.

I did a seach in the forum and tried to find ppl with 19" Forged rims on a 2003...but not luck.

Thank you for responding!!! much appreciate it.

The seller was wrong. They fit. Just run 25-30mm spacers with them all around.

+1, just to make it more clear...they will fit with out spacers. 25-30mm will just make them more flush and give it a better appearance

if you were to put spacers, would you need longer studs?

most spacers 15mm and bigger have studs pressed into them.

03 with 19's and spacers. They will fit over brembo's without spacers, but if you drop it you really need spacers.

They'll fit.

BTW I hope you are getting a very good deal on those, that is some serious curb damage.

Forget spacers and all that crap, he's asking if the '06 Coupe rims will fit his car. Yes, they'll bolt right up no problems! If those are pic of the rims you purchased they should be very cheap, I've never seen worse curb rash.... If those are your rims investigate wheel repair company's in your area before you install.

Thanks all. Ya, the curb rash is very noticable....and no, I have yet to purchase these rims. The dude is asking for $1600 with tires (60% thread).....
Again, he was very honest and said that some dude tried in on his 2004 and it didn't fit. Or else, I would of brought it.....Right now i'm back to square one. It hard to find a set with little to no curb rash.

+1 I called 3 infiniti dealer ships, they said the front wheels can be installed no problem. It's the back that I have to watch out for. They said that the off set might be different...I though about buying on-line...but what if I get it and it doesn't fit??

So Gary, I understand that the bolt pattern is literally the same for 2003-2007 models. I thought the infiniti sevice pple would know better...but they all didn't give me a definite answer and all told me to look out for the off-set....
