Question about Avarus rims on Tirerack.com

Hey Neal,

I am a longtime customer of tirerack.com and had an urgent question.

I am looking into buying your 19 inch Avarus AV3 rims for my 2004 Infiniti G35 with Brembo brakes. The OEM was the 18x8 wheels.

For the front, I was looking into the AV3 19x8.5 and in the rear the AV3 19x10.5. I was wondering if this would work with my stock G35.

If so is there a tire set up that you would recommend that would fit my stock car.

I am not interested in lowering the vehicle or getting the fenders rolled.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts...

Unfortunately that wheel in a black 10.5" width is no longer available. We have silver rears, but that won't match the black fronts.

Largest tire combo I show is 255/35-19 F 285/35-19 R. Could do the same but with a 275/35-19 R also.

I'd check out the Yoko Envigor. Not much to choose from in that size, but those are doing quite well.

Neal,
When is TR going to publish a test of the Yoko Envigor? Is the performance better than the H/V4s?

Should be any time now. Had the track sprinklers running today to make sure all the heads work so I'm guessing soon.

Hi Neal, any further update on the ENVigor's test? I'm holding off on ordering these until then. I never really trust the manufacturers claims and it's too new to trust reviewers.

Just tested them last week. Rode well, quiet, good response in the dry. Overall what I was expecting them to be. Right up there with the Michelin and new Sumitomo. Should have the results posted online soon.
