Axis Wheel Owners, Are You Happy?

Hi everyone, just a quick, informal survey here on the Axis brand of rims. I'm considering a set for my G35c and would just like to know if any current Axis rims owner have anything positive (or negative) to say about their Axis "experience."

Thanks in advance.

Best cast wheels money can buy. My 19"s has taken a year of Washington DC's pothole abuse.

Re: Axis Wheel Owners, Are You Happy?

I have Axis Milanos (same as Dollar). Overall quality was good. Some small blemishes in the castings but nothing significant. For the money I think they are a good wheel. They are a bit heavier and probably less durable than some of the multi-piece wheels (i-forged, Volk, etc.), but at half the cost. I am very satisfied and get tons of compliments.

My only complaint about the Milanos: the small circular vent holes near center of wheel collect water and then leak out bright yellow rust from rotor hub after washing, etc.

I have a staggered 19" Milano set up on my wifey's car and I'm very happy with them. I do have the same complaint as kzanard about the rust from the vent holes. I guess that's what qtips are for.

Re: Axis Wheel Owners, Are You Happy?

Axis wheels are great for the price you get them for. Volk Wheels look better and quality is better but you have to fork out 2X as much money.

I have 3 sets of brand new Axis wheels in boxes.

Axis Milano wheels
19x8.5 (front) and 19x9.5 (rear)
Will sell for $1,550 OBO.

Axis Supemesh wheels
19x8.5 (front) and 19x9.5 (rear)
Will sell for $1,550 OBO.

Axis SevenMod wheels
20x9.0 (front) and 20x10.0 (rear)
Will sell for $1,600 OBO.

I take Money Order, Cashier's Check, and PayPal (please add 2.5-percent to price to cover PayPal fee).

The quality of the wheel is good. I didn't like that I couldn't get custom offsets.

Re: Axis Wheel Owners, Are You Happy?

The price wont be the same if you can choose your own offset and axis would become the next Iforged, HRE, Volks and etc....

Re: Axis Wheel Owners, Are You Happy?

I got custom offsets on my Milano's. Charged $20 more per wheel.
