I have g max as-03's in OEM 19 tire sizes. Maybe it's just me, but they do look to have a bit more sidewall than the pilot sports they replaced.

Pilot sports have a rounder sidewall, thats prolly why the generals look bigger..

I know the general UHP ran large and the G-max replaced those. I can't find anything about them running large or true. Can any one chime in on this

Hey guys I have an 06 coupe with 19" sport rims and I wanna drop it with the Tein S tech springs that are 1.2" in front and 0.9" in rear apparently. I wanna know if anyone has this setup and found it necessary to get a camber kit due to excessive tire wear or any other problem. (Need to know if you got a camber kit for front or back or both)
Thanks in advance

Yes. My front tires were terrible with OEM arms and even though my rears didn't have much abnormal wear, the rear camber kits are relatively inexpensive so I would recommend getting them.

A mild drop like that won't wear out your tires too quickly although you will get some camber wear in the long run on the tires if you do not correct the camber. I have the S-Tech myself and only got the rear camber kit. I believe my front camber is -1.5 to -2 degrees without any camber kit.

2006 G35 Coupe Questions

Okay, so i have recently purchased a 2006 G35 Coupe on 17s & with the stock rims that it has, it doesn't look good. About 15 days ago i have purchased these rims (all 4 are the same) from Amazon and honestly i don't know much about rims or tires. So the setup is what I'm confused about. First of all, the tire sizes that is has right now are, Front: 225/50/R17 .. Rear: 235/50ZR17. Second i need y'alls opinions about these rims. I'm gonna post up the link right under. Also, i can return these within 30 days of purchase for a full refund and i have 15 days left so i need to know.

Amazon.com: Konig Lace Black Wheel with Machined Face (17x7"/5x100mm): Automotive Amazon.com: Konig Lace Black Wheel with Machined Face (17x7"/5x100mm): Automotive

I'm a little tight on money right now so I'm sticking with 17s but that's all that i based the rims out of when i bought them. Just the diameter & nothing else.. i wanted to know if y'all think these rims are good for the G35? I like how they look and all but i don't know how it would look like on the G. Also, with this rim, would it look bad because the tires sidewall is 50? i want to go 45 on side wall but if it's good on the tires that it has now, i rather leave them alone. Lol sorry about all these questions.. I'm a newbie

From the looks of it you have the wrong lug pattern. Should be 5x114.3

So since I would need a camber kit, what's a quality and inexpensive brand? Also, will SPC bolts alone suffice in the rear? Thanks guys

Man, I know money might be tight, but I'm serious. If you can wait it out and get 18's or 19's, you won't regret it. I got a set of OEM Rays (a little rashed up, but not too bad) for $550 with all four TPMS as well as rear tires that I drove on for three or four months. I've seen sets go for $450, you just have to poke around.

Yeah but then that means new tires as well & tires get expensive.. I'm not saying I'm not gonna switch to 18s or 19s probably in the future but for now I might just stay with 17s. But would these rims be fit good on the car? If not I still have another 15 or so days to return them. My stupid *** should have purchased them in person instead of online lol.
