Quote: Yeah but then that means new tires as well & tires get expensive.. I'm not saying I'm not gonna switch to 18s or 19s probably in the future but for now I might just stay with 17s. But would these rims be fit good on the car? If not I still have another 15 or so days to return them. My stupid *** should have purchased them in person instead of online lol.
Check out this website, they also have a show floor in Fullerton http://www.discountedwheelwarehouse.com/Local_Installation.cfm

Quote: So since I would need a camber kit, what's a quality and inexpensive brand? Also, will SPC bolts alone suffice in the rear? Thanks guys
SPC is the best brand out there. You can grab a brand new set for the rear (camber arms & toe bolts) for around $150 shipped. A lot of vendors on here sell them, or if you prefer the cheaper alternative you could always go for used ones. Bolts will take care of the toe (which is usually the bigger culprit when it comes to uneven tire wear). Camber arms will take care of the camber. Usually the set comes with both so you'll be fine.

Quote: Okay, so i have recently purchased a 2006 G35 Coupe on 17s & with the stock rims that it has, it doesn't look good. About 15 days ago i have purchased these rims (all 4 are the same) from Amazon and honestly i don't know much about rims or tires. So the setup is what I'm confused about. First of all, the tire sizes that is has right now are, Front: 225/50/R17 .. Rear: 235/50ZR17. Second i need y'alls opinions about these rims. I'm gonna post up the link right under. Also, i can return these within 30 days of purchase for a full refund and i have 15 days left so i need to know.

Amazon.com: Konig Lace Black Wheel with Machined Face (17x7"/5x100mm): Automotive

I'm a little tight on money right now so I'm sticking with 17s but that's all that i based the rims out of when i bought them. Just the diameter & nothing else.. i wanted to know if y'all think these rims are good for the G35? I like how they look and all but i don't know how it would look like on the G. Also, with this rim, would it look bad because the tires sidewall is 50? i want to go 45 on side wall but if it's good on the tires that it has now, i rather leave them alone. Lol sorry about all these questions.. I'm a newbie
In my opinion the rims don't look that great, plus 17 is kind of small. And like it was mentioned earlier, you will not be able to put them on your car as the bolt pattern is incorrect. The bolt pattern on our cars is 5x114.3, the bolt pattern on the wheels you selected was 5x100. Unless you buy wheel adapters you will not be able to put them on.

Quote: A mild drop like that won't wear out your tires too quickly although you will get some camber wear in the long run on the tires if you do not correct the camber. I have the S-Tech myself and only got the rear camber kit. I believe my front camber is -1.5 to -2 degrees without any camber kit.
So since I would need a camber kit, what's a quality and inexpensive brand? Also, will SPC bolts alone suffice in the rear? Thanks

Quote: Yeah dude return them, the bolt pattern you bought is smaller.
Okay, so i was checking out the boxes that the rims came in & saw this.. i posted a picture of it under here. Does this mean this is the correct size then? I think they entered the information wrong on the website because it also came with the universal version of the rims.

If it had those numbers than I'd say they are universal meaning that it fits 100-114.3. But you might want to double check that....... one tip is do your research, don't impulse buy.

Looks are very subjective... just because it looks good to me doesn't mean it won't look good to you. Personally, I'd recommend getting an 18 or 19 inch wheel. A lot of people run 20s as well. A lot of colors can go well with black... gunmetal, bronze, gold, silver, and white can flow nicely. You can look at the black coupes thread for some ideas: https://g35driver.com/forums/picture...post-pics.html

my Wheel fitment journey
Okay I'm looking to order some work wheels in a month and I can't decide on the ideal offset wheel width to pick/ I'm looking for advice/ input ill explain my car a little more/ bc race coil overs/ currently I'm on axis shine 20s and they tuck.. With my current tire size 255/35 in front and 275/30. .. So my fenders are rolled but not aggressively .. I personally want at least huge same tire size if not wider to a 285 in th rear/ now my wishes may or not be practical without bodywork but that's where I need help.. Now I know nothing can be perfect but I don't mind some rub.. He isn't daily driven and proably 50 miles a week max if I'm not working hard/ Thanks in advance!

First off, I dont know much about tires/rims lol
Right now I'm running stock 17s with all seasons on my 04 g35 coupe that I just got.
Looking in the near future to get black 18 inch rims. First, what are the best rims at that size in terms of quality and price? Second, what size tires would I need? Would I be able to run summers and winters on 18 inch rims?

Thanks in advance

Tire size and offset
Im looking at getting the Concept One RS-8 wheels and despite the research ive done regarding offset im still not 100% on how these wheels will sit on my car. I have an 04 G35 Coupe with stock everything. I do plan on lowering it in the near future but for now im looking at getting these wheels in 19in. They are offered in 19x8.5, 19x9.5 and 19x10.5. I would like to run a near to flush set up and im leaning towards getting the 19x8.5 for front and 19x10.5 for rear. The 19x8.5 are offered with both 18mm and 38mm offsets and the 19x10.5 are offered with 25mm and 45mm offsets. Any advice on which ones would give me a near to flush setup as well as tire sizes that will not give me the look that my rim is popping out of my tire or that stretched look?

Thank you all in advance for any help and information.
