Rays foundrys dr 505 neo chrome wheels. I have a buddy selling these for 2500 with new tires. They are roughly 15 years old and look pretty decent except one wheel that has a bit of chrome missing like size of nickel. Was wondering if this is worth the price?

If you are going to go with those tire sizes you are going to sacrifice handling. I think that the tire sizes you are thinking about running are slightly too small. This is gonna be a lot of stretch! Its possible to do, not saying its not, but if you want good handling as well, then you need to go a little more.
I run a 10 inch wide in back on 285. A 255 will be lots of stretch, and should give you enough clearance.
I am personally against stretching tires, because you are having to sacrifice handling and ride quality. But its preference.
Get back to me if you have any more questions.

I am looking at some wheels for my 06 Sport Coupe w complete stock suspension. Will these offsets work or will I need to roll fenders or get spacers?

19x8.5 +35 front, 19x9.5 +35 rear

Yes these sizes and offsets will work. I recommend going a +25 offset though, at least in the back because it will help fill out the fenders.
I run 18x8.5 in front with 255
And 18x10 with 285
I rolled my rear fenders but I'm also lowered and there's is no rub
I have +25 offset.
But yes what you are looking to do will work fine.

Thanks for the quick reply. The set I am looking at is used. I don't want to have spacers and was hoping to find something wider like 9.5 and 10.5
Maybe I will keep looking.

No problem!
I run xxr's
They weren't pricey and they look great and I got the fitment I wanted.
If your looking to save some cash this a good way to go, and by doing so you get to choose what YOU want, not what comes available
And yes, stay away from spacers, and if you ever have to use them use hub centric ones.
But i wouldn't recommend them at all

What offsets will work with H-TECH's

I can roll and mildly stretch the rears if needed.
Thanks

Thanks flash. I had some ichibas v2 on my oem rays and they didn't give me trouble. I love the g10s but too expensive. Ive been rocking some axis option wheels that fit perfect.

Spacers are "ok" if they are hub centric and of good quality
Shouldn't be needed though if you find right offset and lower properly.

+25 or +22.
That will put you at te fenders in the rear, at +22 nearly flush. +25 slightly sucked in under fender.
Fronts at +22 is flush too.

With OEM rays that's not an option save taking them to be widened.
IMO I'd worry about your XXRs quality before I stressed the spacer issue

XXR quality is fine, I've had no issue
I had volk te37 on my other car, loved them too
I know people with good and bad experiences with wheels are spacers.
Didn't know we were in a dis match on people cars?

Haha yes lets not be dissin, were all G lovers haha

And no, I had them on my GLI and sold that all together. I didn't have the stock to throw back on.
I didn't spend a lot on my rims on my G. Went ahead and got the new rotors, springs, pulleys, and etc.
