Hey guys,
I was looking at buying 20"s. Not knowing too much about wheels except for what wheels I think look good. I spoke to the guys at the garage and I've decided in 20" Vertini Fairlady's (8.5F 10R).
My 2004 V35 is stock at this stage (18s 225/45, 245/45). I was going to run with what the guys at the garage suggested but my friends scared me in to not getting 20s due to rub/noise.
I wanted to come to you guys about what I need to do to make this work. Are the guys at the garage setting me up for a bad time here or is this going to work? I'd like to be armed with a little extra information as to what I'm buying before committing to something silly. Is there any reason I should not go 20s - would 19s be easier? I guess if I'm going to be spending all this money I'd want the visual change to be the greatest possible.
My goal is looks and practicality balanced (Australian roads are horrible too).
Appreciate the help.

Nothing wrong with 20's especially if you're at stock height. Make sure they're the right offset and with the correct tire sizes you'll be fine. I'm lowered and on 20's with no issues.

All wheels are different. +15 will be pushed further out though. Lower the offset, the further pushed out the wheel.. Get the wheels and you can ad spacers at any time if you aren't happy with the look.

Depends how low you are and if you're running camber or not. I think I'm ditching my 20's and going with 19x9.5 +15 and 19x11 +15.. Probably go with a mild stretch. I'm only lowered on eibachs so I was thinking 245/35 and 275/35. Really all depends on the look you're going for and how much room you have for tires.

Allright men & women of driver. I am interested in buying someones square rims setup for my 2006 coupe. I have stock 19" Rays but they are expensive to tire swap. Thats why I'm interested in...

Will this throw off VDC?
I've heard 18's are better for performance? > Will 18" square setup make performance go to crap?
Why should or shouldn't I go with the chromed sedan 18's?
I got a great offer on these and want to rock them, but don't know if i'm making a bad decision. TYAT (Thanks ahead of time)

I'm lookin for a new set of rims. Also lookin for a flush fitment should I go for the

Rohana RC5 Wheels Offset Decision?!
Hello Everyone. I am purchasing Matte Black Rohana RC5 wheels for my 2004 g35.
Size 20x9 and 20x10.5
what offset should i choose!? there are so many options. I want it to be aggressive and flush as possible without looking stupid. btw my car is already lowered as well.

I've been hearing +25 is a good offset to go with. What do you suggest??
