Hey guys, regardless of whether I'm going ahead with a drop this summer on my 06 X (still undecided, re-doing budget), what tire size will perform & look better on 19 X 8 (40mm) rims - 245/40 or 225/45? Thanks for the input!

I'm running a 225/40 up front (19x10) and it matches pretty well with my rear 255/35 (19x11.5). Wasn't a setup I was looking to run but they were used tires and have worked out well for me. Can't say as the extra couple mm have given me noticeable ground clearance, but there's probably some in there.

Hi guys, Noobie to modding my wheels/ coilovers.. I have a 2004 g35x sedan, and im looking to purchase some wheels without too much modding needed.. Idk anything about offsets, camber, or basically anything lol... Im looking to purchase 19's or 20's and drop my car a little lower. what are some simple yet efficient combos of wheels n coilovers that could be used?

would this be a good setup for a slammed coupe
225/35/19
19x9.5
-20
245/35/19
19x11
-15
should i go with this or would it look better without a 15 mm spacer in the back... then just going with a 255 and 0 offset. which one would be more flush when I slam it in a couple weeks

What size ties should I get for 20x9 et13 and 20x11 et13 on 04 coupe lowered on stech springs. I daily drive my car so want some rubber for protection and ride comfort but also want a little stretch. Looking for something that won't cause me to rub and don't really want to have to roll my fenders. I'll be using Achilles atr sports. So what size should I be getting?

^ Would I have to roll rear fenders? I'm AWD, so I'm running 245/40 all around. Thx.

he has a 32mm spacer to run in the rear

if running -2 to -3 deg camber is any spacer needed in the front to match rear and will 245/35 on all 4 create any issues if so what tire size recommended

thanks guys!!!

245/35 is perfect all around. run a 5mm spacer up front to match.

So i picked up some Lmgt4's 19x8.5 / 19x9.5 and not sure what size tires I should run. I'm not going to dump my sedan and stretch my tires to the max (booo! i know) However, I was thinking about running 255/35 n 275/35. I'm still looking for coils b/c this G/Z setup is not cutting it. Guess I'm looking for a sortaflush type of look. Thanks for the input.

Installled Pilot Super Sport by Michelin..........very quiet tires so far.........225/40ZR/19 with 255/40ZR/19 rear. Love the look and no need for spacers. Total cost a bit less than $1500.

So I can move my decent 245s to front and then get some new different 245s in the back? You said its good for betters stability?

It's (usually) better to have narrower width tires in the front than the rear (unless all are the same) to help with stability. I remember having some super wide tires on the front of a car I had and that thing would hunt all over the road.
