Are you going to run all four wheels with this specification? If so you could go 245/40/19 or even 245/45/19 which will be more than wide enough and give you plenty of cushion.

looking to get a new setup

I want my car lowered only 2 inches I don't want the crazy camber(the least amount possible with a 2in drop). I want a thicker more aggressive setup in the rear what do you guys suggest?

I'd like to go 19's all around as long as they look up to scratch and ride smooth. Some have been suggesting 18's but I don't know how large a gap that would leave.

I've seen a couple of G35's with this same application you recommended (245/45/19), and they look great.

I'm wondering if I pushed it to 245/50/19 if i'd run into some rubbing issues. I just really want to fill that wheel well and not sacrifice the quality of the ride.

245/50/19 will be too much. It won't look right, and you'll run the risk of confusing your ECU/VDC system with those tires.

Good call. I've seen this alot lately in looking up this particular size. Why does it mess with the VDC?

If I throw the 19's on there, and that light pops up, what would be the best course of action?Is there a way to prevent it?

I'm trying to decide between 235/35/19 or 245 for front tire size.
I already decided 275/35/19 for the rear because the fitment is perfect but the front without a spacer doesn't stick out far enough.
Both front and rears are +12 offsets.
Currently I have a 235/35/19 in the front with a 15mm spacer leaving it at -3 offset and it is about 3/4 inch from almost touching the fender but once I get an alignment it should be almost touching it, I'm worried if I choose 245/35/19 and put on the spacer my alignment will be off.

Would 235/35/19 and 275/35/19 be okay?

Basically the computer is set to a certain ratio for the wheels and tires as they rotate over the axel. Going too big or small on tires with throw this off and the light will come on. For 19s, the highest profile you can go is 45 and that's really only the front...well staggered at least.
Honeestly, you'd probably be better off with 18s. Could always try one way or the other and see what you like better.
I can post up a pic later of my car when it was stock height with the 18s and you can judge the gap.

245/40 is actually what is recommended for front. Your best bet, from the car's computer's standpoint, would be to go with the 245s and get smaller spacers or drop them all together until after the alignment to check fitment. Camber will play a big role in this, do you have aftermarket arms?

That 2in will make a big difference in camber. You will need aftermarket arms and then you can have them adjusted to find your perfect sweet spot that you're after.
Also, what do you mean by thicker? As in tire profile or just the car's stance as a whole?

I'm not 100% but I believe 50 is the highest profile you should go, if anything you could stagger the back to 235/50

Yea like somewhat thicker tire and then a wider tire also

Lot of factors will come in to play.
Wheel specs?
Offset?
Desired Camber? Most likely negative
Brake type? Stock, brembo, BBK
Lowered? Taking into account the additional 2in drop, thicker profile tires will probably not happen unless you do some serious camber setup. Wider is definitely possible, which in turn, also make it a little thicker

I'm looking into buying some XXR 526 rims for my 05 g35x. I was wondering if they will fit. I'm looking into getting 20s. I currently don't have a drop at all. Has anyone had experience with XXRs on the X? I heard you can't run a staggered wheel but I'm unsure about all of this.

First, No. Just no. Say no to XXR.
Having said that, yes they will fit with the right wheel/offset combo. When it comes to staggering, most will advise not to as it throws off the computer in the AWD vehicles. However, I'm sure putting some spacers up front to even it out is also possible. So in essence, it's not that you CAN'T but more that you SHOULDN'T go staggered.
Check out the marketplace for wheels and save up a little more for at least a set that's forged, you'll be happy you did.
