Tire Size Reccomendations? 04 Sedan

Hello everyone. I have an 04 sedan with factory sport suspension with unrevised Z springs lowering it. I am getting some new wheels that 19X8.5" wide at all 4 corners. My question is what is a good size for this set-up? I was thinking of going 245/40/19. I was hoping to have a little meat on the sidewalls without making it look like too much tire stuffed in the wheel well. What do you guys think would be an optimal size? Thanks for looking!

255/35/19 is the optimum size for looks and performance for a 8.5 inch rim. I personally think 40 series tire is too thick for our cars with 19s.

I'm currently on 245/35/19 and I think its too thin. Ride is a bit harsh/bumpy. Next tire change I'm gonna get 245/40's all around.

^changing the brand of tire will make more of a difference when it comes to the quality of the ride then 5mm change in the sidewall.

245/40-19 is what we typically use.

Thanks Neal. I'm buying the wheels and tires from you guys! I work at a dealer and we have a wholesale account with you guys. Thanks for all of the suggestions guys. I was really thinking of a 35 series tire but, here in the Northeast potholes are a real problem for us. I think the 40 series will fill the bill nicely. Hey Neal, got any Hankook Ventus S1 Evo's left in that size?
