It's time for new tires on my 05 G35 6MT with the stock 19 inch wheels.
I want to go all season because of where I live.
Do you all have any opinions on me putting brand new
Goodyear Eagle GT 245/35 19 up front
Avon M550 255/40 19 in the back.
I'm doing this to save some money as times are a bit tight.

I've read numerous post stating that this size combination works. I've also read numerous posts stating that it's not good to use different tires front to back. On the other hand, A tire guy I respect told me that as long as the 1)type of tire (Allseason vs Performance) is the same and 2) the tires are the same Left to Right, I should have no problems with VDC.

My other option is to go with Goodyear Eagle GT all around with
245/35 19 in the front
245/45 19 in the back

You all have any opinions on this?

 

245/35/19 front and 245/40/255 rear is the way to go 245/45/19 rear the tire is too tall
