Offset Question

Hey Guys,

I did some searching around and couldnt seem to find a definitive answer.

I' m thinking about jumping on a set of wheels.

The specs are as follows:

18x8 with a 45mm Offset.

I know this will be fine with my stock suspension setup. However, I plan on dropping the car on a z/coupe setup.

Will I have any issues with rubbing seeing as though i'm looking at a very conservative drop?

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Fernando

That fitment is weak as hell. You should keep looking.

Im not looking for an agressive offset. I don't want to have to roll the feders. I'm not very concerned with if the wheels are going to sit flush.

Just looking to make sure that I wont have any trouble when it comes to dropping my G.

The stock 07 G35 18s are 18x7.5 with a 45mm offset. I've seen a few members put these on the 03 - 06 G35 sedans. Looked pretty good IMO.

This setup is not only "not aggressive" it's worse than stock. Why would you do that?

As i stated above, im not worried about the wheels sitting flush. Just want an upgrade from my OEM wheels.

I currently have the stock 17" 6 spoke wheels.

Do you have a recommendation for an 18" wheel that will not need to have the fenders rolled once a install my suspension setup?

a wheels fitment can change a cars appearance entirely, get a wheel that sits nice and flush and you wont regret it later
