Wheels for traction

hey guys.. i am adding a JWT twin turbo along with some engine mods.. i am looking to acheive about 450-500 whp..i need better wheels and tires to support this kind of hp.. what brands do you suggest and what size tires and wheels would provide good traction.. i'm lookin to spend about 2500 on the combo but i will go more if i have to to make sure i have decent quality. thanks!

I would budget more than $2500 for wheels/tires if traction is your concern. You can save money by going with wheels in an 18" size. Go no narrower than 10.5" in the rear and at least 285 width.

I'd suggest an ultra high performance summer only tire. If you live where it snows, then you are also looking at a dedicated set of snow tires/wheels.

I added 345 tires on my but I had to go widebody for it.

I suggest Toyo R888 or most R-compound tires
but they do wear out fast

I have nitto invos 305mm wide they hold the power fairly good for 300+ tread wear.

Get some Volks or other Rays wheel...or the new wheel I am trying out are Venaci wheels from VIP Status. Like stated earlier...get some 285's or 295's in the back...but you will spend more than $2500 for the setup for sure. Try the classifieds on here!!!
