flat tire feel?

My car was sitting for about 5 days after I came back from a vacation and for the past week every now and then (happening more frequently lately) I get a whirling loud sound that i can feel in my seat and on the steering wheel that feels like a flat tire. Separate issues that may be connected are

1) a burning smell coming from the rear drivers side wheel well (happens after driving not during initial start
2) I feel resistance on the vehicle, it feels as if the brake are being lightly pressed or the transmission is not turning smoothly

The sound gets louder and hit harder when i let off the gas and am slowing down or cruising.

Any ideas?

Why don't you check the tire pressure and then report back. If your tire is not bad then it is time to check your brakes as well as your wheel bearings.

I'm thinking brake issue or failing wheel bearings

I have the same problem. For me though, my dad says the tires are extremely worn out and my tires are worn out also. You can see the damage of the tires, trying to replace them but dad has no time.

Yes def check the tires first. Tires near the end of thier life can start to make noise, vibrate, track or exhibit strange wear patterns.

Your tires can be as bad as mine though, my tires has gotten to the point where it has been ran on the road so much, it's been carved into a complete circle. All the grooves are gone. Like its smooth...lol. In this case that's not so good.

I'm surprised your steel belting isn't showing through. That definitely isn't a good thing.
