Re: S-Tech any problems ?

I only got an alignment, and they said it was close to even. I don't plan on adding a camber kit. I'll just see how long the tires last.

Re: S-Tech any problems ?

I have had my S.Tech's on for over 10 months now and haven't really had any problems with tire wear. At least nothing that drives me insane

Re: S-Tech any problems ?

u will probably have problems. these guys are saying, nothing "too bad". what does that mean?you could probably lose a lot of life out of your tires due to the uneven tire wear. its a risk, but its up to you if u want to take it.

Re: S-Tech any problems ?

I have the Tein S-tech and I love them, I like the way the car sits and drives and looks. Got my Tein's at Street Image in SoCal and they did a great job. The only item you will need to buy will be sway bars to take them corners faster.

Re: S-Tech any problems ?

I don't know which Tanabe's your looking at, heres the spring rate specs for both so you can see how they differ from the Teins. Biggest thing that stands out is how the Tein's use a lot less rear spring stiffness, something that will add understeer. The call for adding on sway bars is thus even more justified then usual.

Tanabe NF210 Springs G35 COUPE
297/336 F-5% R-2%
Transfers +3% roll stiffness to front

Tanabe DF210 Springs G35 COUPE
308/353 F-2% R+3%

Tein H-tech G35 coupe & sedan(fronts are progressive, rears are linear)
324/260 F+ 5% R-22%
Transfers +27% roll stiffness to front

Tein S-tech G35 coupe & sedan (fronts are progressive, rears are linear)
358/274 R+14% R-18%
Transfers +32% roll stiffness to front
