New wheels: befor I click "buy"
Hello there. I have a few questions about wheels I like. After searching for a few days I'm basically set on Enkei RPO3 wheels for my 09 black G37x sedan. I'm planning 19" (42mm offset) with 245/40/19s. Wheels are pretty light at 20.5lb. It's going to be either silver or SBC (chrome like...). Which one to choose?
I'm not a big fan of chrome but I think that in this case they look great. Or is it too much? Is this SBC coating reliable? How about drop? Will I get rubbing?
One more thing. I'm located in NJ and our roads are pretty bad especially during winter. Is 40mm profile going to be killer?
SBC
Silver
Thanks.

You will be fine with 40mm as long as you're cognizant of where you're driving and avoiding potholes as best you can. I drive in a major city all the time, with all the constant road repaving and construction, and I'm running 35mm profile with no problems. You just have to give driving your full attention.
As far as finish, I'd go with the silver. Chrome is just trashy.
On a sidenote, have you considered saving a little bit more and buying a used set of LMGT4's? They look very similar to these Enkei's but with cleaner lines, IMO they would step your look up significantly.

Thanks for all replies. I guess chrome is not very popular (even though it's not chrome). So be it. Maybe will search a little more... Problem is that there are not a lot of wheels with weight less than 22lb (I'm trying to keep weight close to OEM wheels).
One more thing - with those wheels I shouldn't have any problems installing BBK later, right?
BTW, I'm in northern NJ.
