Anyone using Hankook tires?

Whenever you redesign suspension by changing the single most impostant component- TIRES, you usually get what you pay for.
For most people the single most important parameter is wet panic braking distance especially in cool weather.
Across the cost spectrum identical sized tires can vary by 30 feet in a panic stop from just 50 mph.
Usually only a few times in a lifetime is this critical. Spending an extra $100 per year prorated $50/tire is often a wise choice.
Since the front tires are more critical in panic stopping due to massive weight transfer they should alway be the best if you can only afford 2.

They are quiet, grip well [on wet and rain], and are dirt cheap.
My only gripe about them is that the sidewall stiffness isn't up to par with the other tires I have used [RE050A, T1Rs]. At freeway speeds, if you jerk [quick sharp left-to-right movement] the steering wheel, you can feel the car lag behind steering input and takes away some confidence. But it's only noticeable at 65+ mph.
Other than that, they are great. For the price, its hard to pass for DD tires.
