Need tires size for 18x8 wheels all around on G35X

Before you guys try to flame me, I checked on the sticky and can't find the tires size for 18x8 wheels with a +48 offset

Should I go with 245/45/18? This is the stock size for the sedan that come with the 18 wheels, as per tirerack info. I guess this is the biggest size that will fit those wheels, right?

I'm not dropped by the way

How about 235/50/18? or 225/50/18? Would these be to big and rub?
I'm trying to keef the ride as comfortable as with the 17's

I'd do 255/40/18, but that's just me. Of course, this all depend on your offset, and how far you are lowered.

Typically, most recommend a tire size 2" wider than the rim, so with an 8" rim, you'd want to stick around 10" of tire width..or around 254mm. Of course, not everyone follows this, as you have guys who stretch narrower tires onto wider wheels, and other guys who put HUGE tires on narrow wheels.

Basically, play around with this

225/45/18 is roughly the same diameter as the stock 215/55/17 or if you can find a good deal on 235/45/18 that is the same diameter as stock.

05-06 sport sedans came with 235/45/18's. If you are going to lower the car, go with a 255/40. If not, then go with the 245/45.

when i go to tirerack and typed 06 G35x they give me 2 options:

215-55-17's or 245/45/18

That's where I got the stock tire size from
