Another Tire Size help thread

Hey guys,

I picked up a set of new wheels. They 19x8, +45mm Offset Sport Tuning wheels. I'm dropped on 350z Struts/Springs. I'm trying to find a tire size that will not rub. Tirerack suggests 225/40R19, I'm thinking that I would have to go to 225/35R19...

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Thanks for the reply, out of your thread I found that this combo is the best: 225/40/19 on the front and 255/35/19 on the rear but that is on Staggered Rays. I think the rear tire might be a little to wide....Thoughts?

You should be fine. You might require a fender roll if you decide to drop though. 255/35 is probably my next tire size for the rear.

Yup, unless you want to run the staggered look. From my thread, I think that size is the best compromise regarding dia, width and fitment. I would have ran that size for my fronts if I didn't find the specific combo I found with the Michelins. 48mm is a ton of offset but I think you should be good.

Aren't you looking at this backwards? +45 is going to put you running way inside the fender yes?

I was worried about the 235 rubbing on the INSIDE. ie.. the front strut

When you do get your tires mounted, don't forget to come back and let everyone know how the fitment is. That way it will be here for any future searches.

We will do. I probably won't get them done until Spring time, but will post back.
