Re: Zeal Endless

Zeal/Endless makes great aftermarket stuff for the Z/G. Those are a little on the spendy side but you can't go wrong with them in terms of quality and performance. The only thing that concerns me are the spring ratings. If it's 8 kg and 10 kg (front and rear) that's just about perfect. If it's the other way around, then you'll be transferring stiffness to the front, which will increase understeer.

Re: Zeal Endless

At that price point, the Moton club sport's are a better product. http://www.motonsuspension.com/start.htm
The Z33 fitment will be out anytime now.

1. Seperate compression and rebound dampning adjustability.
2. The ability to adjust the gas pressure in the seperate reservoirs. "The gas pressure in the reservoir can be varied between 6 and 20 bar. It is a very effective tool for pitch and squat control and for stabilizing the total platform of the car during cornering. The gas pressure makes it also possible to run the dampers without any bump stops"
3. Large 22mm piston shaft diameter's
"The highest performance suspension available: The key success of the Moton suspension is an exceptionally large outer piston diameter of 22mm and high capacity dampening fluid under high pressure charge. This allows the suspension to react to very minute suspension compression motion with a high amount of fluid displacement. The large amount of displaced fluid under heavy pressure charge allows the suspension to react with such a force that the high spring rates used in other suspensions are not needed.

The tremendous volume and pressure is achieved by high tolerances in the suspension design and construction as well as high quality valves and seals that are proprietary to Moton suspension design.

The Moton suspension uses a very light weight aluminum body and chromoly piston construction resulting in minimal un-sprung weight.

Although the suspension is designed for professional race-team use, the unique dampening ability of the suspension results in a very supple ride. Due to the dampers ability to run relatively softer springs for rebound, the ride is very smooth, which makes the suspension ideal for rough track surfaces, or even street use. This results in excellent chassis balance and traction even on rough street and track surfaces.
4. The above means you pick your spring rates anything from street rates (350lbs) up to 1500lbs, without the need to ever pull the dampners off the car and be sent ouf for expensive revalving you hope actually works.

Penske also makes double adjustable shocks for the car that use 2.5" spring mounts

No matter what, to spend $3k on just one element of a suspension, you had better make sure you aren't passing up product's that will actually meet your needs and not make your wallet so light.

Re: Zeal Endless

the motons are arguably the best but the products I've seen are listed between $5000-$6000, which will be about twice the endless. Perhaps these new models will be less expensive?

Re: Zeal Endless

yes, the club sports will street for just under $3k, the endless coilovers are $3055. So at the same price points, I'd pick the Moton's hands down.

Re: Zeal Endless

hmm.... as I think of the money I could save by eating mac and cheese/ramen for 1 year so I could justify getting these...:-)

I agree with you about the motons at that price.

Re: Zeal Endless

The closest distributer to me is in Georgia. I'm definitely going to read up on this company. Yeah, when I saw the Zeal Endless I said to myself I had to have it. But I guess it's best to research before making a purchase like that. Thanks.

Yeah AL, but with all of those carbs from the mac-n-cheese and roman noodles, you would easily gain enough weight that you'd have to go out and buy a $2000 titanium exhaust...

This modding thing is a never ending cycle...
