ATTN: TEIN FLEX with EDFC OWNERS!

I'm considering this setup and wanted to know what you guys paid for the setup + installation...break it down like this.

Tein Flex = $$
EDFC= $$
Installation = $$

Thanks!

Re: ATTN: TEIN FLEX with EDFC OWNERS!

I've seen them go for as little as $1550. Do make sure you need a system that stiff, 114% stiffer springs then oem is a awfull big increase, just because they have adjustable dampners that will not insulate you from that kind of spring stiffness increase. And when I mentioned to a Tein tech that a few flex owners say they ride like oem, his reply was, "no way, I've riden in the development car, it's much stiffer ". Frankly, I don't have a problem with a firmer ride when the setup deliver's the handling goods, but not everyone can say that, especially the average G35 owner. Just encouraging you to give it extra thought that's all. It is a great system.

Tein Flex = approximately $1600
EDFC = approx. $375
Install = $0 DIY
IMO does not ride that much stiffer than stock. very very pleased with this system for on-road useage.

did your on-road usage comment mean you are NOT happy with it on the track?

Re: ATTN: TEIN FLEX with EDFC OWNERS!

TEIN FLEX = $1585
TEIN EDFC = $330
Install = ~$450

The install is high because I had the EDFC flush mounted.

Re: ATTN: TEIN FLEX with EDFC OWNERS!

i don't have any track useage info yet. i expect this system to perform well on the track once i get enough track time to dial in the system. to get the most out of this system, you need plenty of test time for the various settings. you cannot just dial a setting in b4 u get to the track if you want optimal performance. we are planning a track day sometime in november, hopefully i don't have work that day so i can try and tune the suspension. i also think thicker sway bars and a camber kit are in order for the icing on the cake.
