Is the valve stem part of the TPMS sensor?

While taking off my valve stem caps, I snapped off the end of my valve stem. Don't ask how I did it; it was cold, the caps were covered in salt/road grime, and I was cranking on it with leather gloves on.

Can just the valve stem be replaced, or do I need a whole new sensor?

Yup all one piece. We sell them as well. Don't forget to have the dealer initialize the new one or you'll get the tpms light.

^^^ Screw that.

infinitipartsusa.com had them for $45 a pop. Not OEM, but they were compatible. I lucked out and got in on the buy one get one free deal.

Worked out great, cause another sensor broke when I took the cap off. No more chrome caps.

yeah man those sensor stems are brittle. and 10x worse when its cold out. i did the same thing with my oems, i was stacking them in the garage and one of the stems snapped off. if anyone else needs sensors, you can usually pick them up in the marketplace for around 100 shipped for a full set
