Question? Fender Cutting VS Fender Roll

Depends on how much of a roll you need and how mechanically inclined you are. I used a hair dryer to heat up my paint, then used a wood baseball bat to roll my rear fenders, but I only needed about 45-degrees, so not a completely flat roll. Turned out fine. There was a little paint chipping on one fender, on the side that got rolled into the wheel well (I probably didn't heat it long enough), so I sanded it down, primed and painted it just to prevent rust. Couldn't find any shop locally that would do it, even the places that sold custom wheels....

I would never be able to do it myself. Honestly I don't actually know what it means to "roll the fenders." What is actually being done to increase clearance? Does rolling fenders change appearance of the wheel well and the area near the wheels?
And how much does it cost?
I want to purchase a full 04-06 350z suspension and I am curious if I will need to roll the fenders? If its different for each car, how can I tell if the car needs the fenders rolled?

well if your going to get a full z suspension your only going to go down 1'' .. i wouldn't think you would need your fenders rolled ... Do you have aftermarket wheels or anything ?? lower offsets or wheel spacers may cause your to roll your fenders .. depends how far you want to go with you car
i have 350z tein stechs and + 35 offsets on my rear and i have to roll my fender
none fender roll
fender ROLLED
