i think its because they needed an intermediary between the CS and RA, and with monotube on the flex it would basically be RA's. twin-tube will retain streetability on the flex. please correct me if i'm wrong.

"how about endless coilovers? From what I heard, HKS needs to be sent to Japan to be revalved. Not 100% sure if thats true."

thats another selling point. Teins can be rebuilt in the USA.
