Need Rim HELP, BAD!!
OK, So I'm getting some rims custom made. 18x8.5 fronts / 18x9.5 rear. The rear has a 3'' lip. Heres my biggest issue...te offsets for the front are 35 and he says, "for the rear its alittle lower" Does this sound abuot right for 8.5 wides in the front? I've seen some of you guys all the way down in the low 20's with about the same size rim and tire....Is this going to look OK? I started stumbling on my words after he told me an offset of 35 for the front!
Re: Need Rim HELP, BAD!!
The stock front rims are +30mm offset. I heard +35 will still work on the front. (Just don't go any higher than +38)... It depends if you have brembos, cause if you do, then I don't think +35/+38 will clear them.
But if you are going through the trouble of getting the rims custom made, you should be going the other way offset wise... I got my 18x8.5 in a +25mm offset.
