Offset kings...i need your help

Though i have a 2nd gen sedan...i figured i would post in here due to the much higher number of sedan guys running aggressive offsets. Im getting new wheels tomorrow. Downgrading to 18's from my 20's because im going back to school in jan for yet another degree, and i'll be driving at least 70 miles a day to and from school for at least 2 semesters. So im going with the 18's for the overall comfort and cheapness of tires haha. I'm going with 18x8.5 +15 up front and 18x9.5 +25....or +15 up front. Im not worried about the front fitting, but my rear is where i would like some insight. Im going to to be running a 245/45/18 on my rear tire. Im currently running a 20x10 +35 with a 285/30/20 and have no issues with rubbing. I have a 10mm V1 spacer out back. I just dont know if i could be able to run the wheel with the spacer making it a +15 offset?? IM also worried about swapping out the longer studs for the shorter stock ones and possibly boring out the hub enough to where the studs wont bite and will just spin within the hub. Will i get enough stretch with that tire size in able to clear my fenders if im clearing enough with my 285/30/20 setup? Also im lowered on Eibachs and not really running much camber in back. Off hand i beleive im around -1.8 or so in back. Any pictures of similar setups or more insight would be great.

You probably should have posted this in the proper forum - you'd get better responses and the mods wouldn't have to move it.

I can't read that, it gives me a headache.

Split it up with all your specs laid out nicely and all your different questions in a new paragraph and I can help you.

Sorry about that. After i typed it i realized it was kind of cluttered as well.

Suspension: Eibach
Camber ~ -1.8

Current setup with no rubbing but pretty flush
20x10 +35
285/30/20
Tires: falken fk452's

Future setup: I know this setup will fit inside my fender being it will only be 4 mm more aggressive than my current setup.

18x9.5 +25
245/45/18

Going to be using my stock Potenza RE05A for tires.

Possible Future set up:

Based on my calculations this setup will put the outside of the tire at the same spot as the outside of my current 285/30/20. However it will be 14mm more aggresive. Could i possibly get enough stretch with that size tire to for it to fit inside my fenders without rubbing?

18x9.5 +15
245/45/18

245/45 isn't really a stretch at all.

Are you rolled in the rear?

With a roll you will be fine, you'll be nice and flush and when your suspension travels it's going to camber up and away from your fenders. Good way to test, get a bunch of your buddies to sit in the back of the car and make it tuck as much as you can with your 20s, then stick your hand in the fender, if you can't get you hand in there, then you might have some issues BUT only at full tucked suspension. Seeing as they are 18s if you rub, you're going to rub tire and not wheel.

2nd gen sedans are already flat from the factory.
I guess the only way im going to know is to actually try out each setup. Though im probably going to have to run the +25 setup to keep from rubbing. But im hoping the +15 fits so i can have a much more aggressive looking fitment. Im going to have to try that when i put the wheels on at the shop. Just tell the guys to hop in the back and see what happens haha

This post from another thread will help you. He's running +15 offsets out back like you plan on running.

I can still add a 5-10mm spacer front and go 255 rear.

hope this can give you an ideal of what you wanna do.

Wait wtf, my bad dude I read your rear offset wrong. I thought you were aiming for +25 WITH the spacer. Sorry I'm an idiot.

With +15 on a 9.5 You're going poke. I ran +17 on a 9.5 and stretched a 225/35 on it and poked pretty solid. It worked with about -2

this if before I dumped it

The fenders are pretty much the same, so I will go a head and say you can't run the +15 unless you stretch some more or pull some camber.

Run a smaller sidewall and you're fine.

Lightsout, that G37 looks sick. Great stance! What are you dropped on? You may have just sold me on that being my next car.
