guys I hate those rims.
lol

i bought the car like that...

Anyways, I swapped them out already with some factory 18s.

car rides a hell of alot better, but still bouncy and rattles when i hit bumps.
Rattle is coming from the suspension...
What needs to be replaced?? so i can ride like a luxury car again..

I have 20's and it does slow the car down but it's very minor. My 20's weigh less than the rays oem 19's but it still doesn't make a difference that much.

G35 is not a very fast car so performance I just tend not to worry about it that much just try to enjoy driving. It's not a slow car but after a hyundai gen smoked me I just gave up on the performance part of the g35.

could be a weak shock. i had my LF shock start clunkin after i lowered the car.....replaced it. or it could be your sway bar end links. look for leaking shocks and play in the end links. lol

WOW1 I didn't think it mattered. Between 20's and less rubber and 18's w/ more rubber. Won't the wheels be the same size and spinning about the same rotation. There is weight difference but rotation?

you should notice a more off the line response. But yes you can lose rwhp power from going from 18'' to 20''. I lost 15whp when i went from 17'' to 19'' rims in my old car.

more unsprung weight and more inertia require to move the wheels due to the diameter and weight of the wheel and tire. But my old car also had 370whp so the drive train losses are higher as your whp is higher. So you wouldn't be able to equal my whp losses with the g35 since there different cars and hp.

I went from 17" to 20" and i am only like 1/4" bigger then the 17" I didn't think it would make a huge difference. I know the 20's weigh a hell alot more

oem 18s aren't exactly light either. just sayin. but unless you're going to track it why care that much?

also Hyundai genesis would get smoked by a g37 which from a model year standpoint is more even. still with some bolt ons a g35 can easily take it too
