Volk GTF wheels questions

Thinking about picking up a set of these with tires for 1800. They are 19s 8.5 front and 9.5 rear. Offsets are +35 front and + 36 rear. I dont think theyll clear the OEM brembos. What size spacer would i need? Is 1800 a good price for them? TIA....

$1800 is a decent price if they come with tires.

Those sizes and offsets are super weak for a coupe which brings down their value to coupe/Z drivers. You'd need at least a 20mm spacer front and back to make them look kinda flush. To clear brakes it all depends what disk they are. Those offsets should clear, but it depends on the back pad (the piece of metal that sticks out the back of the face)

I already have a set of spacers. I was actually looking for a set of 20's as my spare set of wheels just in case **** happens. I found those 19s though and it seems like a good deal. Currently Im sitting on 19" Varrstoens 12 offset.

It's your money, but if it were me, I'd find better things to spend $1800 on than a set of weak offset volks that I'm gonna have to run spacers with anyway. If it's a "just in case **** happens" set, spend the cash on some OEM rims and save yourself a grand.

Whats wrong with running spacers? Lots of people use them and most likely id have to use them with any other wheels that id get. BTW im not about to drop a grip of cash on a new set of Volks just so i dont have to use spacers.

I dont think there is anything wrong with spacers, but why spend so much on a set of wheels that will not be on the vehicle all the time...the varr's that you have on there now should look pretty good... Oem 19's are very good wheel and in some cases better quality than some aftermarket wheels... With all that said ... It's your cash and your ride so hopefully you get some more input in here and make your decision

Question: is the car lowered?

Most oem sets around here will cost me about 800 for a decent set. And the way i look at it if i had another set of 19's then the tires would swap over to each other no problems.

Thinking about what it would look like if i added 25mm spacers all around. That would kinda equal to +10.

^ but they would still be thin.

You have wide fenders, use them.
