Question about g35 with M45 Wheels

I bought a set of M45 wheels and am searching for tires. The stock m45 tire size is 245/40/19.

I heard that this might look a little "skinny" in the rear and though about going 245/40/19 in the front and 255/40/19 in the back. Then I found a set of 4 255/40/19 for pretty cheap and though about going that route but am not sure what drawbacks there would be to going that size all around.

Also, I know I need spacers and am thinking 30mm front, 35mm rear? I have Tein G35 H Springs as well.

Any input would be greatly appreciated as I have been searching the forums and internet for a week now trying to decide lol.

I run 245/40/19 and 245/35/19 in the front and 255/40/19 in the rear.

Spacers: For a moderate flush look +25 mm spacers are required. For a complete flush look +38 spacers are a must.

I ran +25 for quite some time and now running +38 is that chit looks Gooooooooooooooood!

I dunno if you gonna have issues with clearance running 255s in the front. I don't think so. I know other guys run that size tire on other aftermarket wheels. But you will have issues with handling.

lol, yeah I wrote you before about the spacers but didn't want to keep bothering you lol. Which do you like for the front better 245/40 or 245/35? Leaning towards the 38mm lol

the reason I went for 245/40 is cuz I wanted softer ride. I did that during the time when I had bad shocks. I like the look of fatter tire but now my rear looks like it could use some rubber on there too, but I don't have many option to increase that without going too aggressive and super fat tire, and I don't really wanna do it. So I might switch back to 35s since I have new shocks now.

Yeah 38 ftw. Try to find something besides Ichiba tho. That 2 pc design is some stupid chit right thur.

having a noticeable difference between your front and rear tires makes your car look bad a$$, that's why I wanna go back to 35s cuz 40s for the front just ruin the look if you don't go larger in the rear.

Yeah I found some hubcentric 38mm for a good price (on ebay lol). Might just go 245/40/19 all around so I can rotate them...

you cant run same size on a coupe anyways. You have to go with fatter tire in the rear so that your VDC and chit don't trip. You got to remember that Coupe is set up to run bigger tire in the rear from the factory so computer is looking for rear wheels to spin less than front. If you run same tires they will spin equally and computer will trip like a **** on acid.

So no matter how wide of a tire you gonna run, you always got to make sure that rear is larger in overall diameter than front.

wow, really good to know. I've read of other people running same sizes and all around and haven't heard of complaints - you'd think the computer would eventually adjust...

But either way I like your thinking.

well it's not going to be as dramatic as I made it sound.
Originally I believe coupe came with 225/40/19 front and 245/40/19 rear. Overall diameter diff is 0.63 inch. So it's not that big of a diff and rear is only 18.23 Revolutions per mile slower than front. But I read many times members complaining about VDC tripping when running same size tires, and then like you said bunch of other people run them with no issues, sooooooooooooooooo..........
