Max front rim width (20 inch rims)

im looking for rims for my G coupe, and i want super-wide rims. what is the maz width of 20 inch rims i can fit on the front, with a decent amount of rubber, and no rubbing while cornering?

good luck with that. im thinking 10-10.5 but depends on offset, tire size, drop and camber. lol many things to factor in

Lol I think 10.5 would be pushing it and you would need to be cambered in like crazy.

This is nuckingfuts, unless you're building a 4X4 don't go any larger than a 9" rim and a 245/35X20" tire. If you care about "ride quality" you're better off with 19" rims, and then there's the issue of potholes with 20" rims. Sometimes you can be too cool....

you know what else you should do? 24x10 24x12 with 205/20/24 and 215/15/24

you can be like all the cool people with no tires!

WTF? How can any of you say go bigger than 20's? This guy in my home town has 22's and it looks like shiat. I mean what are you doing trying to make one of those hoopties that have such big rims you have to get a LIFT KIT? Do not make the G look stupid.

Your trying to tell me that some hick in Roanoke lifted his g and you do not approve??? Hahhaha jk, yes we are joking. But on a serious note we should have an NRV get-together... I know Blacksburg/Christiansburg has some very nice rural roads to cruise around on..
