spacer nut is rounded, need help

i was trying to get my ichiba 15mm v2 spacers off the car today so that i could sell them. and in the process one of the nuts decided to round itself out. so now that nut is stuck on the stud. any ideas how i can get it off? i tried using one of the sockets i have for taking out rounded off nuts but its not deep enough.

Well since the nut is toast take a 12 sided sicket thats just slightly smaller than the nut and pound it on. That should get the nut off. Make sure it's a 12 point socket and not a 6 point.

Ichiba spacer nuts are so soft. They get rounded off very easily

^Tell me about it. Was installing bbk for someone that had these on his car. One stripped....took me over an hour to cut the spacer/stud off. What a PIA.

Good lucky Kenny. Hope the socket works for you

Ichiba FTL

When you get it off, I'd recommend going to a nut and bolt supply and buying quality grade nuts and replacing all of them. The nuts probably won't have the shoulder on it but as long as it's not that soft chinese **** they use.
