Need tire help

I just bought an 05 G35 Coupe. The rear tires are Bridgestone Protenza 245/40/19. Those tires are pretty expensive to replace. Are there other options out there that someone would recommend? I looked at Tire Rack and a few other places but there are so many different tires in that size. What is the consensus top tires for this car? ALso can you go wider on the rear tires without them rubbing or is that pretty much the max? Thanks for everyones help

P.S. I did search but couldn't really find what I was looking for.

I'm thinking maybe Eagle F1's GS-D3 for $200 a piece.

Hankook and Kumho are both quality discount tires.
I usually buy from these guys and have the tires shipped to my local shop for install.

BTW, don't buy Falken 452s, awful road noise.

Agree that Hankook are good tires for the money.

Not much more you can do size wise with the oe 8.5" rear wheel. I wouldn't recommend mixing models/brands at the same time, but good choices in full sets available. The Hankook Ventus V-12 has been a very good performer thus far.
