20x11.5 rear, what size tires?

Wondering if I could get some opinions on what size tires I should get with 20x11.5 rear wheels and 20x9 front wheels.

For the front wheels, I'm thinking 235/35-20. Kinda have my mind set on that.

However, for the rear, I have no idea. 275? 285?
The three digit numbers are the width of the tire in mm correct? So with an 11.5" wide wheel, I could go with 275 (10.8") but that means it would stretch wouldn't it?

Anyway, if anyone has some setup with 11.5" wide wheels or close to it could give their thoughts. Any help would be much appreciated.

To be honest, any. I just dished some money for wheels, so I don't want to spend much more on tires but want to get the wheels on my car asap. If I end up getting cheap tires, they'll of course be temporary - a few months tops. I'm not sure if I can handle road noise, but I've never experienced road noise so I don't know. I mean I could always try cheaper tires...but what are the disadvantages of cheaper tires aside from road noise? Shorter tread life? Less grip? Ruin rims?

^waste of money if you ask me. just save up a bit longer and get proper tires. I'd get something wider than 275 on a 11.5 wheel

OP, how many clutches have you burned?? lol

Well 285 is 11.2" and 295 goes over at 11.6". I have seen some members on here with 265s for the same 11.5" wide wheel. Hmmmm decisions decisions.

I burnt out one so far lol bought the car used and my dad took it out one day and came home in a taxi lol.

Ok, ^ then you should be good with that offset or a 275 tire.

Cuz my offset is at -3, and -4.5 camber and I have a hairline clearance lolz

Care to post some pics of your car?

I just got my VS-XX's a few months back and I'm already looking into some ADV 7's in those sizes.

Yes, I like poverty. Don't judge.
