Considering Purchasing SF Challenges 19x8.5 and 19x10.5??

Hey guys, I'm considering purchasing a set of SF Challenges but the tire specs are 19x8.5 +21 fronts and 19x10.5 +23 rears. I was really hoping to get 19x9.5 +28 fronts.

I looked at the lip sizing chart providing my Mackin Industries and it says the 8.5 +21 has a 63mm lip whereas the 9.5 +28 has a 69mm lip. There isn't that much of a difference but would it be odd to have an 8.5 front and 10.5 rear?

Will the wheels look odd? Or should I jump on these if they are a good deal?

Personally I wouldn't do that small width on a G. And those offsets are def weak. I would look into a 9.5/10.5 setup with and better size lip then those.

^^ thanks for the advice..I may just continue my search but I really like those sf challenges

Anyone have pics of an 8.5 and 10.5 set up? Any negatives with going with this set up? Would this affect handling?

The car will over steer a fair bit because of the thin width. But with the right size tire you might be ok.

If you're not too worried about precise handling and basically just want to throw em on as it you'll be ok.

You'll want a spacer up front for sure though.

What kinda price are you talking? If they are a REALLY good deal then go for it.

My Volk SF Winnings have the 8.5 & 10.5 with those offsets and they're correct for my coupe. I'm running 245X35s front and 275X35s rear which work perfectly.
